Dr Justin M. Maeda has contributed to many global, continental and national initiatives covering a wide range of health and non-health sectors. Justin played a key role in establishing and operationalising Africa CDC, including the overall institutional development. A collaborative initiative between the aviation sector and public health sector. The initiative was coordinated by Africa CDC during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the safe re-opening of movement and travel.
Continental SARS-COV2 serosurveys
A project that supported Member States to generate additional evidence to complement routine surveillance of SARS-COV2 utilizing standardised protocol for ensuring value added to the COVID-19 response.
